Persephone's Garden

The death crawls up the alley,
and the blood seeps through
the cracks in the floor.
My mind races
Trying to come up with an explanation,
but there is no point.
They are coming,
and I feel the dark presence of the devil,
straight from Hell.
The spirits gather around me,
Try to persuade me,
but they can't.
All of my fears are before me,
and the red liquid surrounding me
makes me faint.
But care do they not,,
and they pull me down,
through the gates of the underworld.
Hades looks into my eyes,
and suddenly looks away,
ashamed,
horrified.
He sends me to the judgement
of Persephone.
I lay down in her garden.
Punishment seems easy,
this isn't even punishment.
The terrible thing I did...
Silver surrounds me,
shines,
glints from tree top
to tree top.
I stand up,
and pick a lustrous
piece of fruit
from a large tree.
I bite into the apple,
and I am left forever,
still as a statue,
For all eternity
In Persephone's Garden.

Change the World

Since forever,
She was there,
One person can change the world,
Good or bad,
The day that I drew my first breath,
was the day that someone started
to believe
That one person can change the world.
She held me in her arms,
She rocked me back and forth,
and though I can't remember,
Her smile won't let me forget,
that I can change the world.
I was her princess,
her angel in disguise,
I changed her world,
while she was only beginning
To change mine.

Care Enough

Anger grasps hold
of my very soul,
It strikes my heart,
Branding it with hurt.
No one seems to listen,
not one person.
Storms rage,
yet I am not in the middle.
I am a sad story,
moved to the side
of my loved ones lives.
I am not favorable
in their sight,
I'm just there,
here.
I care,
Care deeply
about their well being,
but I am not blessed
to have their care.
My battle,
My war of life,
maybe death,
is filled with animosity.
But still,
all will be the same,
because not one person
cares enough
to fight with me.

One, One, Two

One, One, Two,
One, One, Two,
The beat continues,
One, One, Two,
Endlessly, Endlessly,
The beating makes me deranged,
Delusional,
A monstrosity.
My mouth foams,
Both eyes in different directions,
My twisted hands
point towards death,
and all I hear,
One, One, Two,
One, One, Two,
One, One, Two,
One, One, Two,
"It has to end!"
My mouth twitches,
The knife in my hand shakes,
and yet it gets louder,
even louder,
One, One, Two,
One, One, Two,
I scream,
My voice cracks,
The knife gets closer,
The beating gets louder,
My breathing gets heavier.
The blade pierces my skin,
Blood trickles down my worthless self.
The dagger goes deeper,
Inbetween my ribs,
Straight through my heart.
My breathing stops,
And still I hear,
One, One, Two,
One, One, Two.
