Darkness surrounds me,
surrounds my heart.
My eyes are closed,
and I can only see the past.
Love was all,
all that I lived for,
All that I dreamed of.
And it was torn away from me.
Torn away from my soul,
then filled with hostility

imagining what could have been.
There could have been laughter,
